What’s Biquiti’s story & mission?
We see blockchain as an exciting opportunity to positively impact the world. Intrigued by the idea that it could help remove global barriers and give people more financial autonomy, we started by listening to what people had to say. From the stories of enthusiastic crypto investors, to those curious but intimidated by the space, and even those dependent on traditional money or cash, we realized having choices is a good thing and there was an opportunity to do better. Whether it’s crypto or money, the ability to easily transfer funds around the world is not only essential to how we fulfill necessities of life but also how we connect, support, and ultimately prosper. So we asked ourselves, how could we make this easier and more accessible for everyone?
Through Biquiti, we’re creating a more financially inclusive world by providing an accessible medium for exchange that removes financial barriers and empowers communities to prosper.Does the recipient need a crypto wallet to receive my transfer?

The nature of blockchain transactions make them nearly impossible to tamper with. Using complex cryptographic principles, each new block is chained together with the existing blocks on a publicly available ledger. Each transaction within each block is then verified by a consensus mechanism to ensure that the transaction is valid. Once verified, a blockchain transaction record becomes immutable and cannot be altered.
Is my personal account information safe?
We leverage bank grade security systems and data encryption to protect you and guard against any unauthorized transactions and access to your personal or financial information.
How easy is it to send and receive a transfer?
Our transfer process is simple and straightforward. It involves funding a Biquiti account with Crypto or Money and then sending the transfer with a specified amount to an email address. Once the transfer is made from a funded wallet to a recipient, they receive an email with instructions on how to accept the transfer with an option to deposit it as either crypto or money. For first time recipients they would need to go through our verification process for KYC (see below). However going forward once verified they would not need to go through this process again.
What is KYC?
Know Your Customer (KYC) is a verification process that is used to determine the identity of a person. For Biquiti's purposes, we use it as a way to ensure our clients can transact in a safe and trustworthy environment. We understand that the information being provided to us by our clients is sensitive and we take strong measures to ensure it remains private.
The recipient hasn't received the transfer yet who should they contact?
If you haven't received your transfer beyond our standard processing times, there could be a couple of reasons. For cryptocurrencies, occasionally there are delays on the blockchain networks due to congestion which can lengthen the normal time it takes to receive a transfer. For regular money transfers the delay is sometimes due to wrong or incomplete information. If none of these situations apply, feel free to send us a request at transfers@biquiti.com.
